America is dying and nobody seems to care. The founding fathers, even though they were slavemasters, established a system in which no arm of the government was greater than the other. This new America that has been made great by our current president has morphed into something totally different than the founders established. The executive and legislative branches have become a couple leaving only the calm friend to decide if these two should be together. Checks and balances have always kept America safe but the Republican party has cast them into the wind along with truth and morality. Democrats have not changed their ways, they are still trying to be liberals and give everyone a piece of the pie. While the other side of the aisle has forgone the traditional ways of morality and conservatism. Donald Trump has literally turned America into a full-blown circus. A very unorganized circus at that? No, I am not never Trumper but I do like for my government to be non-chatoic and organized. To date, the plan to reopen America is to simply reopen America. We have not processes or plans of any sort beyond, reopening, some people dying, and waiting for the virus to go away. Other countries have created systems and equipment to detect those that are sick and protect those that are not sick. We have been told to simply wash your hands and cough in your elbow. It literally blows my mind that I am living in a country that created so many inventions that the entire planet currently enjoys but we have no plan to combat this. We were the first ones to land on the moon and unfortunately, we lead the world in coronavirus cases and deaths.
If we do not get a nationwide plan instituted soon then America will be forever changed and the effects will be greater than any war or economic downturn. Americia is being suffocated by ineptness and egos and if someone does not do something it will cause us to suffocate as well.
